As women, we experience so many life transitions. Whether its marriage, a divorce or relationship breakup, having children or becoming empty nesters, we seem to always be in flux. These transitions can often bring up feelings of anxiety, depression and/or grief. Women also have many expectations placed upon them and sometimes self-care becomes ignored and/or avoided which can ultimately lead to burnout.

For women in particular, life transitions, especially ones that are tied to physical changes in our bodies (puberty, pregnancy, aging, menopause) can greatly impact our views of our selves. At the same time navigating this amidst societal beliefs about women that don't reflect our needs is challenging. My goal is to help women learn to filter through external beliefs, ideas, and messages and learn to trust their own experience and develop more agency and confidence in the choices they make.

Reproductive health issues can feel incredibly isolating. We can get stuck in the unhelpful comparisons to others, feel trapped in the stigma that comes from societal expectations, and may want to scream at how many years it can take to diagnose or understand complex reproductive health conditions. I hope to provide a nonjudgmental space to sort through and make meaning of these experiences, as well as to provide tools to help you advocate to your care team and communicate needs to loved ones.

— Kendall Schreier, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minneapolis, MN

Courtney is pro-women and a strong-willed feminist. Women experience this world in unique ways and honoring those experiences as not only authentic but truly valid, is vital to our success. Cultural oppression may have painted women as weak but this message is fueled by the fear of women's true power. Self-realization and self-love are the tools women need to escape the confinement of projected ideals of women.
