About My Clients
I help women who are struggling with the negative effects of childhood trauma, relational abuse, and women's issues. Women who struggle to say "NO" and feel like they are "being mean" when they cannot meet everyone's needs. My professional commitment lies in providing compassionate support to women over the age of 18 who are grappling with painful experiences. I offer LGBTQIA+ affirming care with compassion and understanding.
My Background and Approach
Women grapple with a unique set of psychological stressors that can significantly affect their mental and emotional health. These challenges can stem from societal expectations, gender inequality, reproductive health issues, body image concerns, or the pressure to balance professional and personal responsibilities. I utilize direct and solution-focused types of therapy that will help you gain the tools necessary to address the deep-rooted issues and bring a sense of empowerment and focus to your life. One method I use is EMDR. During EMDR, my clients focus on a traumatic memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements. The goal is to reduce the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories. This allows your brain to resume a natural healing process making room for a more stress-free life. You'll be able to gain resilience and know how to face life's challenges without fear and setbacks.
