About My Clients

Are you trying to identify areas in your life that need to change and are you looking for ways to implement healthy change? Do you need a new perspective on relationships, life goals, or traumatic experiences? I enjoy meeting people who have the initiative to explore, who want to have more insight, and who are looking for support in the healing process. I help those clients challenge the old way of thinking, explore the origins of psychological wounds, and take ethical action.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and certified trauma therapist. I hold degrees in engineering physics (BS, Cornell University), chemical engineering (PhD, Texas Tech), and Professional Counseling (MA, Amberton University). I came to Texas with the United States Air Force. After military service and graduate school, I went to work in industry. I completed the counseling practicum in a geriatric psychiatric hospital. Now I work full time in my telehealth practice. I draw on my own life experiences and include validated, professional therapeutic techniques to collaborate with clients in overcoming obstacles in their careers, married life, parenting, and individual lives. For those clients who would like to integrate their spirituality in their journeys to heal and grow, I include prayer, scripture, and spiritual reading as part of the therapeutic process.
